Yao Rongjun was the first to offer the course of Strategic Positioning at Peking University HSBC School of Business in 2010, and later joined hands with CCTV National Brand Class and Shanghai Jiaotong University to offer the Competitive Strategy course. Yao Rongjun is dedicated to popularizing the subject of competitive strategy and has participated in the professional interpretation of the book Great Competition - Competitive Strategy Practice Cases of Chinese Enterprises. His practice cases include Yadea, BESTORE, IdelB, Xiangpiaopiao, and Inoherb.
Yao Rongjun is a member of the Expert Committee of Competitive Strategy Teaching and Research Workshop of China Management Case Sharing Center as well as a brand consultant for CCTV Advertising Business Management Center, and is often invited to make speeches on various forums. He has been interviewed on numerous occasions by Xinhua News Agency, people.com, Economic Daily, and Tsinghua Managment Review, and also invited to write articles to share his unique insights on topics like competitive strategy for private companies, the rise of Chinese brands, and domestic demand stimulation.
